How will literacy testing help my child learn to read?

Literacy testing gives information about a student’s learning profile, including areas of strength and areas for growth. It can examine underlying skills in various literacy areas and evaluate a student’s current reading skills compared to age and grade-matched peers.

Wendy uses her various areas of expertise to design an individualized literacy assessment for each student.

Once the testing is complete, Wendy integrates the results with previous testing (if any) and provides an extensive written report with specific recommendations for improved acquisition of reading skills. Given Wendy’s experience working in various settings, she provides recommendations that can be easily implemented in schools and at home. Wendy’s dual training in spoken and written language makes her a valuable asset to any school, as well as parents, looking for an in-depth and comprehensive evaluation of a child’s oral and written language skills.
